How can I block up a hole in the brickwork in my kitchen,at the floor level, through which my dishwasher drainage pipe releases the dishwaher water down the drain? Mice are gettting in through the hole. and I have had to call the pest control company in.

If its one brick use expanding foam in cavity then you can fill hole with brick or sand & cement

usually with sand & cement render, but can be done yourself using wire wool. Someone told me they don't like to chew through it.
