Mr Nicholas Wintle

We have some leaking in the bay window? It seems to be coming from the top and we are keen to avoid having to replace the whole bay window.

Hi Mr Wintle. I could just be an issue with the roof part of the bay window. it is worth checking the slates/tiles are not broken or the felt is in good order. check the lead that covers the joint between the house and the roofing material. Somethimes the lead can come away from the face of the house or the lead can fall out of the brick pointing and allow water to penitrate. Most builders should be able to have a look at it for you, but always get at least two if not three peoples opinion and hope that two are the same. Hope this helps. Regards. Colin
