Plume management kit

Posted by Sorcha Diskin, on
Hi I am trying to find out about installing a plume management kit on the external outlet pipe from from my Combi Boiler. Two reasons. One the exhaust comes in the back door when the boiler is running and the door is open. Two I am thinking of putting a porch on my back door and at present the vent would then exhaust into the porch... not good. Do I need a plumber to install a plume management kit ... if so any ideas for someone in the Pontypridd area of south Wales?

Hi Sorcha William is right. This is extremely dangerous and need looking at by a Gas Safe engineer as a matter of urgency. The plume kits are supposed to take the exhaust fumes off your boiler away from any door/window openings. I suggest you keep doors/windows closed if boiler is on until you get this seen to. If you don't know any Gas safe engineers you can post your job on the main section of the site. You could get up to 3 people making contact after buying your job details Thanks Russ

If the plume/exhaust blowing back though your door its dangerous it must be checked by a gassafe engr he/her alone can fit your plume kit GAS SAFE Kind regards bill
