Hi Amina most painters/decorators will strip paint from woodwork and apply a finish to the bare wood. You could also get the doors dipped by a specialist to remove the paint. Ed

What tradesman do I need to find to remove paint from wood, such as stairs, skirting boards and doors?

A very quiet decorator would help you, but normally the householder does it there selves as it can cost a lot of money!
