Hi Clare if the sealant is covered in mould you will definitely need to remove it as it will just spread. You can use a siliicone sealant remover to get rid of the old silicone, they sell it at Screwfix. Ed

Hi Clare, You will need to remove this with sealant remover then reapply with new sealant but make sure that you use an antifungal sealant. Regards, Darren. Red Security.
