Load bearing wall removal

I want to remove an internal concrete wall but I do not know if it is load bearing or not .

Check if there is a wall above it on the first floor. Next check if there is no wall above it that it may be supporting the ceiling beams. Check this by going into the room above and see which way the floorboards go. If they run parallel to the wall then the wall is carrying the joists. If the floorboards run at right angles to the wall then it is not. Check both sides of the wall as they may be different. JC
