Floorboards

Posted by Sara Day-Smith, on
I need to make good the floorboards on the landing before having a new carpet laid . About how much would a carpenter charge or could a handyman do this

Hi Sara cost would depend on how many boards need replacing or whether they just need re-fixing. If you have got big runs of plumbing pipes I recommend replacement with a plywood trap to prevent board joints falling over the pipes. If it's a small job handyman should be ok anything larger get a carpenter. Ed

Hi Sara Yeah I'm sure a handyman would be able to do this for you. As for the charges I'm not sure but cant imagine it being too expensive Thanks Russ
