Creating three bedrooms out of two.

Posted by Sarah Sutton, on
We need to knock through original bedroom wall and then create partition walls to make a third bedroom, a small corridor and two new doorways. We live in a modern house and don't think the wall in question is load bearing. What trade would do this and an estimate would be good

Hi Sarah You will prob also need light/switches adding/moving. Possibly heating/radiator alterations. You will prob need joiner/plasterer/electrician+plumber. You could possibly get tradesman yourself or get a general builder who will have the other trade contacts and he will do the job. As for cost they would need to see the job. Hope this helps Russ

Hi Sarah if the walls are studwork you need a carpenter , a plasterer and as Russ says you will need an electrician to alter light switches etc. Ed

A good plasterer should be able to do most of the work, with electrician maybe Plummer G, branch plastering

What would you like to do now?
