The mirror weighs, perhaps, 30lbs...could a plasterboard wall support this? it did in my old house, from where i have brought the mirror but that was a show home and the mirror was up (hanging from a single screw) when we got there so i don't know how they did it and i don't know what was behind the plasterboard. here there is insulating material. i am worried that the weight of the mirror would tear out the screw and damage the wall and itself as it hit the floor! if the screw is not feasible is there an alternative method of fixing the mirror to the wall?
