Hello we are having a new kitchen . our old gas cooker will be replaced by a new gas range.we have been told by wren the kitchen fitters that it cannot go in the same positing as it is to close to a window. this is a non opening window. is this correct

No idea what they are on about. I certainly don't know of any rules regarding a hob position in relation to a window. I'd contact gas safe as they can help with anything like this, you'll find them on the internet
