Hi Lizzie it will be fine to fix the cabinet to the wall as the tiles will reinforce the plasterboard, if it's just plasterboard use a good quality plasterboard fixing. Ed

Will a bathroom cabinet that weighs 24kg empty be too heavy for plasterboard / tiled wall? Studs are not in the right place to fix it to them, if I use really heavy duty fixings will it be ok ? Or am I going to cause serious damage to the wall?
