Hi Trevor, I don't know what type of plasterboard fixings do you want removed but there are usually at least 4 types of fixings many tradesmen use : 1. spring toggles fixings - to remove them, you need a philips screwdriver 2. metal or plastic fixings - you need a philips screwdriver or a big flat screwdriver to remove them 3. plastic rawlplugs - screw into the plug a screw (1/3 of it's length) then pull the screw out ; it should come out together with the plug. 4. hollow walls anchors - to remove the metal plug you have to use some pliers. To cover the hole, if it's not too big, you can simply use some filler, let it dry, sand it to make it smooth and then paint it. Enjoy! Cornelius Cretu
