Hi Patricia, Don't rely on a handyman to do a plumber's or an electrician's job. Even an decorator's work needs to be done by an experienced decorator otherwise the result won't be as you'd expect it to be. A handyman, can hang up picture frames, assemble Ikea furniture, fit some curtains tracks and other small things like this. Some experienced handymen can do more than that, but keep in mind that even if they do have the knowledge to do a plumber's work for example, they are not qualified to do it.
