House renovation project

Posted by Claire Butler, on
Hi there, I'm looking to buy a house which needs quite a bit of work in various areas - it's likely that we'll need a gardener, a painter/ decorator, potentially a bathroom specialist and a handyman. Do I have to post all those jobs individually or is there somewhere I can post the job as a whole? Many thanks, Claire

Hi Claire, Its not uncommon for smallish scale varied jobs to be left unsold as the value isn't enough for a developer to take it on but the specialist trades will be reluctant to buy a lead where there is a need to subcontract part of it to someone else. Personally I would suggest you advertise the bathroom specialist as one job as that is likely to be the highest value part and will attract more professional bathroom specialists to contact you about it. A decent handyman will most likely do gardening and depending on their experience painting and decorating. Hope that helps. Regards Steve
