Hi Alan Are we talking about a switch? You wont have a nuetral on the switch plate itself. If the light is "switch fed" the wiring would be correct apart from the 2 blues would go iinto a connector block in the back of the switch. To be on the safe side and if your unsure get an electrician to double check this for you Thanks Russ

Hello Alan, The wiring of a lighting circuit can be tricky as you often have to take a third positive back to the switch, called a switch wire but only have blue or brown colours to choose from. Normally the switch wire would have a little bit of red electrician's tape to show it live. I would suggest getting a qualified electrician to take a look at it, to be safe. Good luck.
