Removal of old silicone edging to bath and taps. Replace with new edging to bath and taps

stanley knife but be careful not to damage batn specially if it is plastic, once cleaned off make sure it is completly dry. fill bath with water to settle bathseal round then leave overnight, if there is any movement on bath seal will not be broken as the sealant is flexible, if you seal with bath empty when bath settles with weight in it could break the seal

Hi David, This is a DIY job if you feel confident. You can buy "silicon eater" which will dissolve the silicon but actually it doesn't really work. You still need loads of elbow grease to get the silicon off. Once you have it off and nicely dried you can apply the new stuff. Check out you tube vids about how to apply it. Again it's a skilled job so if you don't feel confident try it on a test piece fist. Good luck.
