Wood to plaster board glue

Posted by Duncan Hales, on
I am try to make a cupboard out of an unused area, but can not use wall fixing, is there a rapid drying glue I can use for wood to plaster board. Or is there another way of doing it

Hi Duncan, To get the best fixing you are best to cut open wall and put a timber upright in the partition so you get a really good strong fixing to that. Another alternative is to use plasterboard fixings, you screw the into the plasterboard and the a screw screws into them. These can sometimes move though. Definitely cutting open wall is best way to get a guaranteed strong fixing Thanks stuart
