What are some alternatives to adhesives that will not leave residue?

Posted by William Katzka, on
I work in a veterinary lab that takes care of mice. We will occasionally have to place toys and activity wheels in the cages, but due to a new protocol we are unable to adhere these items to the bottom of the cage using tape/glue. The residue it leaves behind makes the cages prone to bacteria/germs. We have considered using screws or nails, but once the holes are made in the cage, then it can only be used with the toy/wheel. Thank you so much for reading!

Hi William, Try with hot glue. Once it hardens it becomes like silicone and if you want to remove it, it won't leave any residues. It's sold in bars of different thicknesses. You'll also need a hot glue gun to use them bars.
