Air brick

We have 1930 semi there was a airbrick at the front and we did concrete floor and the floor level up and the airbrick covered with concrete down to floor. Burried by the concrete now we dont have any air brick at the front. We have other 4 air brick other side of the house and one of them sealed from previous owner some reason what need to do any succestion

Hi Ozge, I agree with David, however I there is timber floors further in the house which are now blocked off by the concrete floor you need to get some air flow under those timber floors otherwise they will rot within 10 years. Regards, Richard.

Hi ozge , I am guessing that the floor was previously wood the air bricks are there to provide ventilation underneath the old wood floor. now you have concrete the air bricks are not needed.
