Hi Diane. The usual average for a roll of wallpaper. 3 drops per roll. 4 drops when the pattern runs in your favour . If you already have paper on the walls , count the drops. The purchase of paper on the net is ok if you can return unused rolls. Always buy one extra roll just in case there is a flaw or damage. I've had this problem many times. Hope this helps.
