Dear Anthony, The job as very briefly outlined by you entails various skills in plumbing, electricity, tiling, plasterboarding, kitchen fitting, plastering, decorating and not to be underestimated responsible demolition. Very few tradesmen are so able to master all this individually to a high enough standard, but a group of building specialists can be up to the task. In our company we got different skills under one roof and we often undertake projects like this. You can opt to hire different tradesmen separately and manage them yourself but this requires some knowledge about the rates, building technology and of course - time. It may be cheaper and certainly easier if you get a group of builders who have walked the way many times before and obtain a quote for the lot. I encourage you to post your job's details on ratedpeople.com and get a few quotes from builders with good feedback. The reviews on ratedpeople.com are from genuine clients and would help you decide.
