Clay soil pipe

Posted by A Deane, on
I have a 60' extension that has old toilet with clay soil pipe cemented in the ground about 1ft away from the wall. I would like to have a new close coupled toilet fitted in but the clay pipe is a problem. What can I do about it?

It sounds like it might be best to build a box to contain the cistern and get a back to wall wc with hidern cistern, then you can fit into existing clay pipe, otherwise to dig it up and alter the outlet position, or build a small stud wall at the back of the existing outlet to put a standard wc in the position you would normally expect

What would you like to do now?
