Fitting a new upvc window

Posted by Melvyn Jones, on
The outside height (brick edge to brick edge ) is 48 mm bigger than the internal dimension. The outside width ( brick edge to brick edge ) is 35 mm bigger than the internal dimension. What will this mean when I fit a new upvc window ? The existing one is wooden.

internal measurments are always different due to plaster etc measurments for window are the oytside measuirments but allow some clearance on your measurements say allow 15 mm any gap when window is fitted can be made up with expanding foam wehen properly dry cut off and cover with silicone
