Hi Les. I've had a quick check. Whereas we are unsure exactly what email you mean, we've found a couple of things you may be referring to- 1. Use DIY window cleaner You don't need to buy window cleaning sprays when you can make your own from ingredients you probably have already. This recipe will make your windows shiny and streak-free. All you need is 1.5 cups of water, 1.5 tablespoons of white vinegar, 1.5 tablespoons of surgical spirit, and three drops of peppermint oil. Mix it up, spray it on windows and mirrors, then just wipe with a lint-free cloth. 2. Borax Substitute You can use Borax Substitute as a multipurpose cleaner. Why stock half-a-dozen cleaning and deodorising products when Borax Substitute (which is entirely natural) can do the job of them all? You can add it your regular washing powder to remove stubborn grime from your clothes – it bleaches slightly so is perfect for whites. It can also be used to clean your walls and toilet, shampoo your sofa and even as a mould remover. So many uses for one product. I hope this helps! Josh Ask an expert team
