Hi Mary, Steps to remove wallpaper. • using a heavy duty scraper, score the wallpaper down the wall, all over the area that needs stripping. This will allow the water to soak in behind when you use the steamer. • purchase a wallpaper steamer from any diy place. Usually around £30. Using the steamer all over the area you would like stripped and using a heavy duty scraper carefully scrape away at the paper until it’s stripped back. Be careful not to leave the steamer in one place for too long as this can blow the plaster behind the paper. If you have any more questions then please ask. Sam Westcott
