How To Get My Money Back

On 12/12/17 I paid Matt Thomas £315.64 trading as Better Homes & Gardens to do some work in my garden. Despite numerous promises, he hasn't started the work or given me my money back. He's now trading as MDT Painting & Decorating Services and I've recently seen on Facebook that he's now offering driving lessons. I've had court papers drawn up, but don't have a valid current address. How do I find his current address?

Never pay a tradesman before work has started. Unfortunately there are many bad traders out there who make it harder for us reliable, quality tradesman to win work. Legally if his company is no longer trading and you have paid theres very little you can do. but I agree with tom, contact Ratedpeople, though they probably can't give out details.
