Hi
My tenant advised me before Christmas that her gable end bedroom wall was wet and growing black mould. I had a trusted and experienced builder to take a look and he said it was condensation issues and advised her re ventilation and wall insulation. I agreed to address this but she didn't want to do anything about it until after Christmas due to disruption. She has now removed the wallpaper and has asked us to get a second opinion. Not sure why this would be necessary although I was happy to do this but I have been unable to get anyone to look (even through rated people) due to the widespread damage due to flooding in our area. Question is should I just get the wall insulated without getting a second opinion.
Thnks for advice
