Your tradesman won't repay my deposit

Your tradesman quoted me and asked for £400 deposit which I paid to his account 23rd Jan . He then discovered he couldn't do the job but won't refund my deposit or return my keys. Can you help return my money or advise the next steps and he came recommended by you.

Unfortunately it is not rated people’s tradesman it’s yours He will just be on the site The fact that you have a record is good However if there are no emails or texts to say what the payment is for, he could say it was a loan or gift
