I have laid kanuf eco wool insulation under the floorboards of a ground floor room some 5 years ago. Where the joist is next to the external wall about a 2” gap I also stuffed the wool insulation. There is about an 18” gap to the earth below. The air bricks for this room are not brilliant but alow a small air flow. After lifting some boards now I have found this wool next to the wall is wet on the bottom. The main rolls of wool under the rest of the floor are fine. Is this due to inadequate ventilation or should I remove the wool placed close to the wall. Would this not create a thermal bridge with the skirting above? The property is Victorian terrace 1901. Thanks
