I am extending to the side and need to remove a manhole. Upstream is a bathroom and cloakroom (toilet x 2, bath, shower, handbasin x 2). Downstream is the public sewer manhole. Is it simply a case of removing the manhole and connecting the pipework to the existing pipe draining to the public sewer? Do I need a rodding eye, even though it connects straight to another manhole?
