Shower draining weird

Hello ?? My shower gets all clogged up while I'm in the shower. Then, once I finish, after a few minutes the water suddnely drains all at once. This wasn't always the case.. the water used to drain while I was showering so there was no water buildup at all. I'm assuming this isn't a clogged drain, since the water does go down and fast... but what could it be, and is there a way to fix it? Thanks!
