Ground movemy

Posted by Liam Barrett, on
Hi, I recently had a structural inspection carrier out after I noticed some small cracks on my extension. On the advice of the engineer I had a Cctv drainage survey carried out. The survey found that the joint where the clay pipe meets the toilet plastic pipe meet has failed and is leaking water into the ground. My question is once I have the joint repaired would i then need stability work on the surrounding ground or would the ground surround the pipe stabilise itself once the leaking water is stopped? Thanks in advance for the responses.
