Hi Brenda, you need to contact the contractor who did the recent electrical work to see if there is a fault with the new wiring. It may be a coincidence and the oven has an internal fault. This is more likely if the oven is a few years old. I would still explain to the contractor what has happened and ask them to check their work as a first step.
