Hi Dom, Sounds to me like the heating system is electric storage heating, which should be powered over night to heat the storage bricks inside each heater. There are a few ways this system can be set up to work correctly: Use a dual tariff meter and timers for the heater circuits or each heater individually. This allows you to take different readings for daytime and night time (economy 7) and take advantage of the benefits this type of heating system. Use a radio teleswitch meter. This system automatically brings in a night time supply which is usually connected to a dedicated heating consumer unit. At the appropriate time of day the economy 7 supply is switched on and two meters takes separate readings for daytime and night time. Hope this helps. Regards Carl Stator Electrical Solutions Ltd
