The minimum requirement would be to complete and issue a minor works certificate. If the work was to be carried in either the kitchen or bathroom then it becomes notifiable and a registered domestic installer (Part P) would be required to complete the work. Also any work which requires a new connection into the consumer unit (fuse board) is notifiable so the same applies. regards Carl Stator Electrical Solutions Ltd
