I have a problem with my rangemaster oven. Basically the top part of the range is working fine, the 4 hobs, the hot plate and the griddle/flat plate. Below is a further two ovens and a grill, the grill works fine, but bot the ovens are not working all of a sudden. I get no ignition and no gas coming out of the valve. I've had a Gas Engineer look at it, and he thinks it could be a solenoid valve, but admitted it was out of his depth. Can someone please tell me does this sound like the solenoid valve, and would an electrician be able to fix this, if not which tradesman would ?
