Dear Aimee You can try to clean a dust from inside but I am not sure if it will help . I would suggest to replace it with a new unit Best regards Rafal

Hi, I would personally recommend you before you open the fan please switch the power from either a fan switch which shall be located above the bathroom door in the passage or from the fuse board. Once open, you shall have the face of the extractor fan in you hand, remove the filter and lightly brush it and clean it the ventilation surface of the cover, now that it is clean fit the filter back. Before you place the cover back on the fan please check all the screws and attachment in the fans are tight and it is holding the tight enough on the wall or ceiling, now that you have done this place the cover back as you found it initially, switch back the power, switch the fan on and check if it is doing the job. If this does not work please change the fan with humidistat extractor fan.

What would you like to do now?
