Hi Bob. Just to inform you that the regulations changed in April this year that 3rd party inspection and testing is now allowed, and electricians can get someone to test and inspect their work, providing that they can show they were present during some of the installation phase. Alternatively, if he has done the work and given you a certificate, then you can ask someone to perform a periodic inspection and test or now known as an EICR and compare results. Hi Bob If work have been done by rated people member and throught Rated People website you should have all details regarding company experience and feedback received from previous customers. Look at their profile and at the bottom should be a link to leave feedback I hope this can help Beat regards Rafal
