Can I connect my intergrated oven and my hob using one socket?

I have integrated oven and hob. Can I connect them together using one socket?

Hi Olga. Definatley do not attempt to put them onto 1 circuit. Dependant upon the size of your oven you may be able to install via a 13 amp plug top but the hob will need its own dedicated 30A supply with 6mm Twin And Earth cable fed via an cooker isolation switch. Like the previously comments get expert advice from an electrician either off this website or your local paper Hope this helps you Russ

If the cooker supply is on a 6mm cable and the fuse is set at 32amp then it is possible both can be connected together. If the oven unit however comes with a flex and plug top it would be better to have a socket fitted alongside the cooker point, thanks, Ian
