hi,the sockets should be on separate curcuits to the lights so that in itself needs looking at,as Micheal stated place a job in your area on rated people and get 1 of the electricians to come out and identify the problem.

Hello Jack, It could be a number of reasons why it's tripping. Put your job on rated people's site for a free site inspection and quote. Regards Michael.

The lights are normally on their own circuit totally separate from the sockets. if however your fuseboard has a main rcd trip that covers everything then you will need to find the fault on the lighting circuit. I trust this assists, thankyou, Ian
