Electric cooker not heating

Posted by Sandra Lawler, on
I have an electric fan oven which has stopped working- the fan is still going but no heat. Is it likely to be a fuse or the element... and is this an expensive job?

Ian Brumhead Grant

Chances are it is likely to be the element. Depending on the make and age of the oven unit it should not cost a fortune to renew the element. In most cases it is removed from the inside of the oven with retaining screws in the rear panel. I trust this assists, thankyou, Ian
