Hi Keith When you say you are getting 240v at the ceiling rose I presume this is across the switched live and neutral with the switch turned on? and not the Live Loop + Neutral? Thanks Russ
Lighting Fault

My lighting circuit tripped. I re-set the MCB and the lights all came back on with the exception of one room. Upon investigation I am getting 240 volts at the ceiling rose but it does not power a bulb! Bulb and fitting was tested at a different ceiling rose and all worked fine. I am totally confused as to what the problem might be
