Hi the safe way to find out how the wires run is to purchase a cable detector. You can get these from any good DIY store in the electrical section. You pass the detector across the wall and it will find the cable route for you. If your not sure tho post a good under the electrical section explain your concerns and I'm sure that a local tradesperson will be able to help you out for a small call out charge. Good Luck, Darren.
