Hi Marsha, Rated People tradespeople must submit Gas Safe or Corgi details to us if they with to carry out gas related work on our service, as this is a legal requirement. For electrical work, Rated People tradespeople can submit their Part P certification, which will display on their Rated People website page. We also feel it is the responsibility of the homeowner to satisfy themselves that the tradesperson is appropriately qualified to complete the job prior to accepting the quote. Therefore, reviewing ratings is an important step when choosing a tradesperson to carry out your work. Rated People Ask An Expert Team.

Hi Marsha Why do you ask this? Are you doubting the qaulification of someone whose done a job for you? If you have any doubts about the electricians qualification just ask them to show you them. Ideally you should be using sparkies who are affilaited to a scheme like NICEIC or NAPIT. These can be checked on electricalcompetantperson I always show the customer my NICEIC ID card on arrival at the job. This just proves that I am affiliated to them and they will have checked my qaulification when I joined and I am also assessed on an annual basis. Thanks Russ
