Am I allowed to extend the ring main in my kitchen?

If you're qualified to and registered under a part p scheme then yes. If you're not then you'll need to get a tradesman in and a certificate upon completion. You'l also need the work notified to your local building control office. Regards Alfie Jenks Hants Electrical Ltd

Hi Steve, You are allowed to extend the ring main in your kitchen, but keep in mind that the maximum length of a ring circuit shouldn't go over 100m. Regards, Cornelius Cretu
