Hi Sam When you say you left the Live wire connected what did you do with the neutral and earth wire? I would get this checked out by an electrician to be on the safe side Thanks
URGENT -Exposed wires behind socket in casing

I was taking an electric heater off the wall yesterday and noticed that there 4 wires behind the wall. I took thè heater off and left the live wire attached to the socket. But the other 3 I left in the casing folded over, I didn't cut the wire down to the plastic coating. Is this OK until I get someone to fit the other heater or is this a fire hazard?
