Who do I hire first?

I require removal of a kitchen ceiling light and replacing it with a new false ceiling and recessed down lights. This requires two types of tradesmen. Who do I hire first?

Hi Mary, You'll need an electrician first, to remove the light fitting, then a dry liner to fit the structure for the recessed ceiling, then the electrician need to run the cables for the spot lights before closing the recessed ceiling with plasterboard sheets. Regards,
