Dimmer switch problems

I have a dimmer switch in one room and when the switch is active, a light fitting in a completely different room (next to the dimmer room) is buzzing, I have tried to swap the bulb in the buzzing room to a dimmable bulb hoping this would solve it but it didnt work.
