Electrical Wiring Issue.

Posted by Karl H, on
I am putting in a extractor fan, (not timed). The fan works when the light switch is off, but does not work when the light switch is on. There are two light switches in the room, one at each door, that work the lights. I have run from the fan, L Brown back to L Com and N Blue back to L 1, on a fan isolation switch. To feed the isolation switch I am using power from a two way light switch. I have run from the fan switch to the light switch, Brown L Com going to Com where it meets Brown from the house wiring. I have run from the isolation switch L 1 a Blue wire to L 1 on the light switch, where it meets a Black wire from the house wiring. There is a Grey wire from the house going to L 2 on the light switch. There are the usual earths, and no earth on the fan or fan isolation switch, and no provision for it. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
