Hi, I’m trying to fit a 4foot LED light in my garage, my current fitting is a ceiling rose which has 8 wires plus 2 earths, far to many to fit into my new unit, so can I leave the rose in place and use the 2 wires coming from it (the red and blue) to connect to new unit. Also would I need an earth to run from the rose to the new unit.
Or can I disconnect the rose and just use ordinary connectors
